The Coronation of Henry Tudor

On 24 June 1509 Henry Tudor was crowned king of England. As best I can determine it was at Hampton Palace. This weekend at Scarborough Faire the cast played out a recreation of his coronation. It was one of the best scenarios I have ever seen done at a Renaissance Festival. My congratulations to the cast of Scarby and the Playtrons as well who all worked as a close knit team to pull it off. It was actually pretty intimate as there was a small crowd of patrons due to the rain the night before and that increased the pageantry provided by the large number of Playtrons. Namaste - Moon)Dawg
