These photo albums show the beginnings of Sherwood Forest Faire from the time there was noting but wood until just before opening day of the 2010 season. I took over the website a short time before these albums started and ran it until sometime in August of 2010 I think, I have forgotten now, old age I guess. It was fascinating and satisfying as well to see a new faire born and done by rennies but I fear that will be short lived as the forces of commerce are already making inroads into the place but that is the nature of the world we live in.
